gail is 22 years old
Nov. 17, 2005
What will a father say to an excellent daughter who has fulfilled her parents countless dreams of their youth?
What can a parent say of loving daughter who continue to shower us with her good works, humble but great undertakings and unlimited support?
What can a father say to daughter who has brought us 22 summers and rains with pure joy, noise and love?
She is a big lady now alright. But to our hearts and minds , she will remain as our Duday who sang on the microphone (and I recorded it) when she was barely three or four months old. She with her mind-boggling and unending queries in her baby days. She remains the "spaghetti lady" of my drinking days. My karaoke partner even at the time when the fad was "minus one" LPs.
She who gave us pride at the Ateneo when she became Dean's lister and graduated. Now she is pursuing her dream to become a lawyer and again what can a parent say to this baby now a feisty lady?
We thank the Great Almighty for giving us this wonderful child. Everett and myself can perhaps tell her today. Thank you Gail Stephanie. Thank you for everything. Happy Birthday to you.
papa and mamaSIMPLY STRONG wins/gail's condo spruced up
SIMPLY STRONG ran a beautiful come from behind strategy to beat the pacesetting and favorite EARTH WIND AND FIRE at the second day of the 10th MARHO BREEDERS CUP RACING FESTIVAL.
Earlier, FIVE OCLOCK came in fourth on the first race while during the last race I DON'T DANCE finished third. This gives me, one win, one third and one fourth in a three horse run. SERENDIPITY also did a good job on her barrier trials placeing second to imported WEDDING VOWS. Hope she can run in December after going down about three groups.
In the meantime, gail's condo received new furnitures and lightings courtesy of the interior decorator LEO ALMERIA. It was nicely done and will be finished by saturday...

it's marho racing week and Gail's bday
Well, this thursday , my daughter will celebrate her 22nd birthday. She got great grades at the Ateneo Law school and apparently may end up as a dean's lister. I cannot imagine this. I thank God for helping her in all her studies.
Yes, I am running five racehorses this weekend and maybe all of them will win. I saw on theracing program, FIVE O'CLOCK, SIMPLY STRONG, I DON'T DANCE while SERENDIPITY will be running on barrier trial. I hope that MISS BOBON and KINGPIN will have have easy opponents when bot h of them compete either Saturday or Sunday.
At this point, I still don't know what gift to gibe to my daughter. She told me she will cookk pasta and have dionner with her at her Mananansala condo. That will be fun and cheap but worth looking forward to....
It's a busy week ahead and I hope everything turns out fine for the 10th Marho breeders cup and Gail's birthday.
Ciao.
