TUKMO wins at STA. ANA, gets stables' 21st win this year
My two year old filly TUKMO (Amerigo-Stolen Moment by Life Peer) won by a head over her rival 3year old colt MOGUL in a thrilling finish last night at the Santa Ana Park. Guided by regular jockey LD BALBOA, she went wire to wire in respectable quarter times of 17-24'-25'-28' (1:35.6) for the 1450 meters.
She was the heavy favorite and she did'nt disappoint her racing supporters. She will next run in the Allowance races...
Kudos to our baby TUKMO...Thursday, November 16, 2006
Tomorrow, Nov. 17 is my baby Gail's 23rd bday
It's a mixed feeling that the baby I was cuddling then is now a law student and 23 summers old. 1983 and 2006 seem to have flown in a whizz. Looking at the voluminous picures, one could just wonder.
My Duday is an exraordinary kid. A Papa's girl all the way. She has strength of character and very great passion for knowledge. All the scenarios I've concocted envisioning her future are happening and I thank our Lord for allowing us, her parents, to accomplish that.
But really, sometimes I feel very happy and sometimes fearful that she will have her own married life very soon. I could feel that lump in my throat, the accompanying heartache and threatening tears. But that's life everybody will traverse. All of us will leave our beloved families and raise our own.
What's important is the fact that her mom, Everett and myself reared her to what she is now. We are so so so very very proud of her.
Now that she's readying her future, our wishes never stop.
Duday, we wish that you have great health and happy happy life.
We pray to the Lord to continue showering you with His Blessings as He did to your parents.
We love you very very much.
.
Happy 23rd birthday, sweetheart

My Home library is almost finished
Well, It's quite a nice feeling to have a beautiful library inside our house. This one is on the third floor overlooking the magnificent mountains of San Mateo and the whole of Marikina Valley...
This is a place where I can focus on writing, reading and networking. My daughter likes the place and she can find the quiet nook where she can absorb her law books...
Thank you. MR VICTORY who provided the funds for this cute and serene hideout.
And of course to the Lord above who continues to shower us with His Blessings...More pics from the HORSEMAN'S DIGEST
Here are some excerpts from the HORSEMAN'S DIGEST:
Of course, the superstar here is my champion horse, MR. VICTORY.
Of course, the superstar here is my champion horse, MR. VICTORY.HORSEMAN'S DIGEST out on the market
Well, our magazine is out on the market for 150 pesos. So far, there were a lot of positive reactions eSpecially from distinguished persons in the industry. Here are some of the pictures of themagazine which of course, features my champion, MR VICTORY.
Horsemen Putch Puyat and Norberto Quisumbing were very proud of our work and I would commend Edwin Villanueva, Gerry Roman and Mon Balatbat.
This work should get further support from all sectors to highlight ona regular basis the goings on in our side of the horseracing globe.
Kudos ..

DIABOLO DON and SIMPLY STRONG are back
(diabolo don)
Well, after a long layoff, my two horses, DIABOLO DON and SIMPLY STRONG will run the barrers on Tuesday of the MARHO week at the Santa Ana Park.
DIABOLO DON had problems with his fetlock and has never run for more than 6 months. Now he is fit and ready.
(simply strong)
SIMPLY STRONG had a bone chip removed by Boy Tanagon , my trainer which means she had gone down by about two groups. She is now in 4-4a and is scheduled to run in the MARHO premium races either Saturday or Sunday...
FIVE O'CLOCK will compete on Tuesday... TUKMO will still try to win in the Maiden BC group ...Our importeds PRIDE AND JOY, LIRAO, and allowance runner BOBON LANCER, older horse EXPEDITER will run in the premium races together with MR VICTORY who will compete in the P1.25 million SMART 3YO COLT MILE stakes race.
Good luck to us...
