Arrival pictures of Peter-Luci-Darren and Kathryn

Better late than never. This is seriously outdated but the images are so important for me to dismiss. Theyare the pictures taken when Lui's family arrived Dec. 19.

Sta. Ana stable visit and watching workouts

This picture was taken Morning of Dec. 23 when Uncle Len, Bong and I went to the Santa Ana racetrack. We saw our racehorses work out that morning including JABEZ, the one on the picture. We also saw our big winner, MR VICTORY who was really very very fit that morning. I also saw our novato Victory Colors yearling who was always hyperactive as he was just a week old in the stables. A lot of people congratulated me on the big MR VICTORY win on the Philracom yearend stakes. Well, he is again running this weekend at the Santa Ana Park. I hope he wins again. Ciao.

MR VICTORY wins in PHILRACOM yearend stakes

MR VICTORY won by three lengths against a strong field of three year olds last night at the San Lazaro Leisure Park. Ridden by new jockey RM Mamucod, MR VICTORY was fourth at the mid backstretch before delivering a searing finishing kick at the top of the stretch and won pulling away. Second was outstanding favorite HARD TO FIND followed by DON EXEQUIEL and MANHATTAN. The win was worth P 300,000 with a beautiful trophy called the Jockey Manuel Guizon Cup-PHILRACOM Yearend stakes race.. He was timed 24' 24 24 28= 1:42 for the 1600 meter distance. This was the 24th win of the stable for the year 2006 and tghe third stakes win of MR VICTORY. the trophies of which are displayed prominently in my library.

Complete family reunion

It is a very busy Christmas and New Year Holidays for all of us. My wife's Australian relatives arrived the past week and we have been very busy entertaining and moving them to many places. Uncle Len and Ate Lolly with their son, Joseph are staying at the Rockwell condo while my wife's sister Luci and her husband Peter together with their wonderful kids Darren and Kathryn are staying at our Filheights home. We had a wonderful Christmas eve celebration at the house where everyone in the family branch was present. They will be staying until the 6th of January next year.

Uncle Len, Ate Lolly and Joseph Treasure

We are deeply honored with the presence of our Australian relatives, Uncle Len, Ate Lolly and their son 26 year old Joseph. Uncle Len is in his 80's and his wife Ate Lolly, Everett's cousin is about 60. We stay at their Kingscliff home whenever we are in Australia for the holidays many years ago. Now they moved to a nice retirement home in Nerang, Queensland which we hope to visit in the coming years. Their son, Joseph is a businessman operating his own bar at Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast, NSW. He will just stay here a couple of days hoping to see some of the bars and then return to Australia. Yesterday, these three people went to the Calda ancestral home in Fransisco Homes, San Jose Del Monte , Bulacan. Tonight we will be having our much awaited family picture taking at the Shangrila Restaurant in West Avenue,QC. Ciao.

Kathryn- the singing Pinay-Australian 5 year old girl

I'e never seen a 5 year old girl singing perfectly in our Magic Sing until I saw and heard it with my two eyes and ears. Kathryn sang the very difficult THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL of Whitney Houston and sailed thru it with perfect diction and tone that she scored 95 on that song. A score that allof us tried desperately to match but failed. She also sang her favorite WOMAN IN LOVE by Barbra Streisand and again displayed perfect diction, timing and tonality. She will be a movie star, so I thought, and maybe that is her destiny....I'm not asserting myself as a former TV network executive but we are all trained to spot the next big talent aren'nt we? I was also surprised with her reading ability at that age. Kudos to her mom LUCI , who is a former school teacher here before migrating to Bris bane, Australia to start her family with Peter. Great great girl Kathryn..
