Our 2 year old filly, LIRAO was the unexpected winner yesterday at the 4th race of the San Lazaro Leisure Park race card. She came from 7th place to win by a half length over favorite LADY COMMANDER.
She was timed a respectable 19 26 24' 26'=1:36 for the 1500 meters. This was the first time that we adopted a come from behind strategy that reflects her breeding. Hopefully, she will continue to improve as she matures. jockey louie Balboa says the horse is now adjusting well to the racetrack.
