Our little 2-yo filly TUKMO, daughter of Amerigo from dam Stolen Moment showed her guts despite losing this afternoon by a half length to ROYAL HALO.
She took the lead and withstood early challenges from ASK ALEXI and MACALELON and was still ahead 100 meters before the finish line..LastO Oct. 30, she was third to MADAM LEONORA for a nice 2nd and 3rd place finish for the week.
She is now earning her keep and will continue to improve as she grows older...
Hooray to TUKMO.

Tonight, FIVE OCLOCK won in her Class 4-3a race at the Santa Ana Park. She beat favorite DON RAMON by a length in the 1450 meters distance with a time of 1:33.
LIRAO came in a disappointing seventh place with a new jockey aboard.
PRIDE AND JOY came in 4th against winner STAUNCH ALLY of Boss Putch.
We are still on target for our projected 30 win finish this year. We must win at least 10 more to achieve this goal. There are about 8 racing weeks left and I think that this is doable.
