Well, a ,lot of newspapers featured the stunning win of MR VICTORY in the 3rd leg 2006 Triple Crown..They called him names citing the biggest upset in the history of the Philippine Triple Crown. Soem say it is a cinderella story full of so many rough trials before the win...Such a sweet success...

It was a feeling fulfilled by many years of aspiration...The horse that I bred, trained and now won the most coveted of all horseman's dream, a Triple Crown Championship trophy...
MR VICTORY did it in a fairy tale storybook ending... A quest saddled with too many heartbreaks that will eventually lead to a stunning win last Sunday, July 16 at the Santa Ana Park. Indeed, God giveth to those who are offering prayers to Him...
A dream come true, proving to everyone that this was not a sprinter horse, but a horse that is intelligent and has the guts to win short or even the longest distances...
MR VICTORY... thank you...
Also, thanks to our team....
the trainer- Dr. Antonio Alcasid Sr. for preparing the horse in this final leg of the 2006 Triple Crown against all odds and problems...Sadly, he told me that he will be migrating to the US this August and he will be leaving behind our champion horse... He told me that he really believed in this horse and has seen in him his former champion horse, GYPSY GREY....I felt emotional when he texted me... "Thank yu , jake for the opportunity".... As everyone has known, Doc Alcasid hasn't won a Triple Crown championship in many years...And some of his detractors say, his methods may have been outmoded...which I beg to disagree....
For me, any owner who has a champion caliber racehorse should get the services of Doc Alcasid...It's sad though that he will go to the US permanently, but our short work together gives me unforgettable lumps on my throat.. again Thank you Doc...
Thanks to Boy Tanagon, who took care of MR VICTORY since day one... and the strapper Gino..
Thanks to Dunoy Raquel, the jockey who kept patiently and hoped to wear down the others in the first three quarters of the race. A strategy that paid off with a scintillating finish.... Salamat Dunoy...
Also to Mr. Putch puyat.., who gave me the broodmare of this champion horse, VICTORY COLORS...He told me that this win vindicated our Paris Match Farms and our broodmares as among the best in the country...I salute you sir..
Salamat Lord...
