Eric Tagle's ranch sale went ok with 10 horses sold
It was a rainy day at Banay-Banay farm, Lipa, Batangas when Eric Tagle held his farm auction invoving 66 racehorses.
I was told that he has sold 10 horses as of this writing and the sale has amounted to more than 5 million pesos. Bought were WHISTLE BLOWER, yearling ANGEL BABY and many others. Here are some of the pictures I took from that sale..

Ciao..MR VICTORY returns to track
We will be running MR.VICTORY this weekend at the San Lazaro Leisure Park. He will be pitted against horses in the class 35-B category in a distance of 1400 meters.
He had a rear hoof problem about two weeks back and this was already resolved.
His workout are just as good, according to his trainer Doc Alcasid. August 10 he worked out a mile 32 29 27 28= 1:57 and on the 15th, yesterday he was clocked 29 25 25 1:19 for the 1200 meter distance... just good enough warmup for his class race either saturday or sunday..

10yo gelding EXPEDITER wins again
It wasn't a bad week for the stables with our older mare EXPEDITER showing her wares convincingly vs. a young field of opposition yesterday at the Sta. Ana Park. She defeated favorite 3yo filly EXTREME ROMANCE and 4yo mare CAPRICORN AIDA, 3rd choice in a come from behind win clocked at 1:34.4 in 1450 meters distance. This maybe the 16th win of the stable for the year.
I had two second placers, first was MISS BOBON who was beaten by a mere half length by the outstanding favorite SOMOS O NO SOMOS and the second was I DONT DANCE , who lost a tactical race to favorite FRIENDLY FIRE.
Returning BOBON LANCER was a dismal fourth in his first run yesterday although being highly touted at the stands. He was in very poor shape. PRIDE AND JOY on theother hand finished a game 5th in his second run in the regular races. She's showing great improvement. I just hope that she will continue to do so.
Ciao..
