Whammy,our flower horn fish dies

Last night , Lucy our househelper told me that our flower horn fish at the dining expired. He had been very quiet and walking sick since last week. We will surely miss him. To spice up his empty aquarium, I transferred about 50 marble mollies, all in shocking red colros adding luster to otherwise solemn atmosphere after whammy's death. Mama was impressed at the bright colors, and I hope they last forever this time. Later today, LIRAO (Lujain) will be arriving from Bulacan farm. I can't wait to see how this youngster grew in just about a month of rest at the beautiful resthouse of my friend Raymond Puyat. Tonight, MISS BOBON and SIMPLY STRONG will compete in both strong line-ups. I hope both of them will win. Ciao.

Talking with horses and koi fishes

It is a wonderful feeling for me to see kois and racehorses at any time of day. This is why I chose them as my blog title. I have some pictures of my "talking" with some of my favorite pets. These koi are from my garden pond which I visit every morning to feed them by hand. These are two of my weanlings Victory Colors and Chardonnay who are partners whereever they are. It's a nice feeling to see them eating lazily on the grass while side by side. These are some of the more 30 weanlings roaming feely in a five hectare lot inside the Paris Match Farms. They don't hurt you but just smell and touch with their wet nostrils and lips. A truly outstanding feeling. Ciao.

beautiful ranch babies and victory colors

I made a brief trip to the Paris Match farms in Lipa city, Batangas to look at the new weanlings by Chardonnay and Victory Colors. They were great looking and seem to the best among the crop. Chardonnay's foal filly had two white socks at the rear, while the Victory Colors weanling had a star on the forehead with no colors on his feet. It was also an interesting moment to see our best 3year old and soon tobe Trople Crown campaigner MR. VICTORY who was sweating because of constant running in his new paddock. He has recovered from his shin soreness a few weeks ago. His half sister WINNING COLORS (BullMarket) is also looking good with his nice height and muscular physique although she is a filly. VICTORY COLORS is pregnant again with KEY APO and is expected to drop foalby March this year. I was'nt able to see STOLEN MOMENT and CHARDONNAY because they were on the other side of the ranch. But I was told they were all ok. I had to leave the place and get back to Manila to catch up a 6pm meeting at Wack wack. Ciao.
