My hospital billings for the 5 day stay was really astronomical. But at least , I was thankful to the Lord that I did not need angioplasty or open heart bypass surgery. Really I was prepared for the two options, IF, the angiogram tests would see artery blockages. I was told that angioplasty would cost 50,000 pesos per stent (the balloon placed on the artery) and then post operation costs would be around ahundred thousand pesos .. If it was a bypass operation, then each blockage would cost 300,000 pesos each. Ex. If a quadruple heart bypass, that would need about 1.2 million pesos. But then, the doctors said my heart is still better and needs only maintenance medicines. I should not let my giuard down and fix my weight problem and addiction to sweet foods. As it is, my six day stay at St. Lukes cost me a total of 160,000 pesos. Then the monthly maintenance medicine would cost about 6-8 thousand pesos a month. Well, at least I am here and money would not be a problem as long as I work hard . Thank you very much Lord for giving me this life… Maraming maraming salamat din sa mga mahal ko sa buhay na nagpatuloy sa panalangin at pagsuporta sa akin….
