I DONT DANCE wins easily, nails 13th stable win for the year

After 6 months from a knee chip operation, I DONT DANCE displayed tremendous power in winning the 4th race Wednesday at the Santa Ana Park, Makati. She won by a massive 5 lengths over JAY NICOLE,GIGI'S GOLD and IL AMOROSA in a fast time of 1:33 for the 1450 meter distance...This win came after she placed second to IRON MIC at the SLLP which was her first run. Her trainer, Basyo Fernandez decided that we would use CALM AND COOL on the horse because she was too high strung because of the long lay-off. Now she is back to her old form and still improving..... MISS VICTORY, DIABOLO DON and JABEZ pass barrier trials

A little bit of good news yesterday... Three of my racehorses passed their barrier trials with flying colors... (DIABOLO DON 6 year old horse) Diabolo don and Jabez ridden by Jockey LL Calingasan ran secondor third in their respective heats... (MISS VICTORY- 2year old filly) Miss Victory also ran second, I was told and had little problem at the gates with the very experienced NK Calingasan on board... Hope this would be the start of a nice career for this little sister of Mr. Victory... Ciao...

SCENE STEALER breaks down

(Scene stealer) Sad night for the stable yesterday. SCENE STEALER broke his right front leg in the 5th race and had to be destroyed.. According to the jockey, his foot was caught in a hole nearing the far turn at the racetrack so the horse ran wobbly... Anyway, thanks SCENE for the wonderful memories...

I DON'T DANCE, MISS BOBON are second placers

It's quite exhilarating to see I DON'T DANCE almost winning her initial run on a regular race at the Santa Ana Park. She was nipped at the wire by favorite IRON MIC in what turns out to be her first performance after that knee chip surgery in December 2005.... Coming out second also was MISS BOBON who was nipped again at the finish line at the San Lazaro leisure park... Also coming out of injuries are SCENE STEALER, DIABLO DON who are all running this Tuesday. We also had good workouts for LIRAO and PRIDE AND JOY so, let's hope for the best..

Everett's 50th birthday was a success

Despite the last minute jitters, we had a wonderful saturday night birthday celebrations for Everett. Attended by her immediate family, brothers and sisters, nephews and also my own mother and kins, the affair was truly memorable. Also attending were her officemates, bea glo, and others including edna, her best high school friend... The pictures will come in later.. as soon as we receive those... ciao..

24th year of Sto Nino Patronage-June 30, Tacloban city

It's been a while since I visited this blog... But we had a wonderful time doing our yearly patronage to Senor Santo Nino de Tacloban June 28-July 1. I've realized that this is the 24th year of our pilgrimage that started way back in 1982 a year before Evy and myself got married... This time we went to Olot,Tolosa Leyte, which is the resthouse of former First lady, Imelda Romualdez Marcos... But on the way back we had a hitch because our 230pm flight was moved by 6 hours, almost derailling our surprise party for everett that sauturday night at the Shangrila west Restaurant in West Avenue... But all's well that ends well... Ciao..
