We had a wonderful time of nice food, karaoke singing and exploding firecrackers last night. Except for the singing Kathryn, the boys were busy with PS2 Games.
Peter , as usual was already tipsy when his partner Edgar arrived. Dennis and wife Arlyn arrived past 9pm. Alex could not make it because he was on duty for the New Year coverage.
I was tired from last night's dinner at his house and had to take a one hour rest in our room before coming back at 11pm.
Except for Alex, everyone in the family was there.
We exploded just enough firecrackers to welcome the oncoming year. The Australians, Uncle Len and Peter went outside and were amazed at the Filipino way of celebrating new year.
In Australia. People would just go to a park whete the government has a spectacular fireworks display every new year or christmas . The same way that Manila Mayor Lito Atienza is trying to do here. But to no avail.
Bong created a makeshift launchpad for our Dragon rockets. This made it safer and easier for the rockets to surely go up high and avoid accideents. Peter , Aljohn, Leklek and Nadine joined this year's family firecracker event
We had a grand time until midnight at the house of Alex, my brother in law in Don Jose .Subd.QC
Uncle Len and Ate Lolly were there and so are the brothers and sisters of Everett and all nephews and nieces. Stars of the show were Kathryn and Kodi who were singing and dancing., Gail, Agnes, Luci and Alex, Edgar and Peter sang on the magic sing. The young ones, Leklek, Aika, Nadine, Aljohn and Sheena contributed at least a song each.
Mama Pining, being the matriarch, watch the whole festivities without leaving the dinner table.
