MR VICTORY won by three lengths against a strong field of three year olds last night at the San Lazaro Leisure Park.
Ridden by new jockey RM Mamucod, MR VICTORY was fourth at the mid backstretch before delivering a searing finishing kick at the top of the stretch and won pulling away.
Second was outstanding favorite HARD TO FIND followed by DON EXEQUIEL and MANHATTAN. The win was worth P 300,000 with a beautiful trophy called the Jockey Manuel Guizon Cup-PHILRACOM Yearend stakes race.. He was timed 24' 24 24 28= 1:42 for the 1600 meter distance.
This was the 24th win of the stable for the year 2006 and tghe third stakes win of MR VICTORY. the trophies of which are displayed prominently in my library.
