SIMPLY STRONG won dec. 26
Well, SIMPLY STRONG went down one group the day after christmas and once again prevailed in a near photo finish.
She was the third favorite and beat FORMIDABLE JAEDA by a head in a neck to neck dash to the finish line.
Ably urged by my stable rider Taming Tanagon, SIMPLY STRONG stuck on the rails in a simlutaneous surge to the finish by the other horse. In fact, FORMIDABLE JAEDA was already ahead by a head when SIMPLY came back with that head win. This is her third win in all her starts with RC or Taming.
Earlier, FIVE O'CLOCK finished third in the race that saw favorite KEY ELEMENT win by three lengths at the Santa Ana PARK.
